As of June 11, 2021, The Crucible has reopened!

We will be open most Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM to 2 AM. As a general rule, Fridays are 18+ and Saturdays are 21+, but always check the event listing to be sure.

You must be a member or the guest of a member to attend. Members may bring 1 guest. Admission is $25 for members and $35 for guests, unless otherwise listed.

All attendees must show proof of Covid-19 vaccination.

    💫Glow, Create, Celebrate: A Night of Neon Thrills!🎨
    💚 We will have GREEN wristbands for anyone who wishes to let others know it is ok to ask/approach. ✅
    🌟Glow Under The UV Black Light. On this night we recommend that you wear something white or all white, that is up to you! (i.e. t-shirt, bra, tank top, dress, shorts, or nothing at all, once past the curtains).
    🖌️Paint On Me is focused on helping to break the ice by asking others participating in the game if you can write, draw or paint on their clothing, or on them (skin) that is agreed upon (After consent is giving - Do NOT touch anyone without asking first.
    🎨Please feel free to bring markers, paint or whatever else you'd like to use.
    🫟Wearing white is not required, come however you feel comfortable.

    Demo Stations will run from 9pm to 11pm

    Hitchin' Bitches is for women and non-binary folks interested in tying, being tied and who self-tie. Men may accompany attendees as bottoms, but may not tie or participate in any discussions other than as bottoms. Men are only allowed at the invitation of an attending top.

     The Sapphic aesthetic affirms the unique experiences and relationships of female-identifying genders who love femmes and feminine energy.

    Black and Kinky Fridays at The Crucible is a space for all experience levels and interest in kink. We focus on building community, education and play in the largest kink event in DC that centers, celebrates and honors the rich diversity and contributions of Black and Brown kinksters. Our gathering aims to create a safe and welcoming space for all participants, with a strong focus on ensuring the safety, honored consent, and positive experiences of Black and Brown attendees.

    Whether it is your first time in a dungeon or you are a seasoned vet, we invite you to mix and mingle with our thriving community. Our monthly event is built for discovery, driven by consent, and centers around the Black kinkster experience. We provide the music and vibes, all we need is you!

    RISQUÉ is a monthly BDSM play party with music provided by the area’s hottest EDM DJs.

    RISQUÉ is primarily a BDSM play party, designed to create a fun, comfortable space for members already well versed in the scene, as well as providing a safe and respectful environment for newcomers that are not only watch, but join in and learn at their own pace and comfort level. If you’re currently into, or would like to learn more about Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submission, Sadism and/or Masochism, we have experienced players in the fields of Flogging, Rope, Fire Fleshing and/or Cupping, Needles, Knives, and much more every single month for your enjoyment.

    As much as RISQUÉ is a play party, it is also a club night, so we feature a diverse variety of Electronic Dance Music, no matter if you’re into industrial, synthpop, EDM, house, electro, D&B, dubstep, or just about anything else, our DJs will be sure to get you moving. And of course, if there is someone you would like to spin, we’re always taking staffing requests.

    RISQUÉ is a dress to impress party, however rest assured that nudity is always welcomed and accepted. Additionally, each month RISQUÉ will follow a new theme that you can dress up for and find new ways to enjoy yourself. Please see our event pages for details and suggestions.

    This is an all-inclusive space for all genders and queer sexualities for folks to meet new people, socialize, and play. Bring your best self and leave judgments at the door.

    This is an 18+ party. Alcohol will not be served.

    This event is for queers of all kinds and kinks, no matter your experience level. We want to smash gatekeeping and create a welcoming space for folks to explore themselves.
